I worked with the Yaskawa Corporation and Phd students from the Kyushu Institute of Technology to optimize the path of a semiconductor wafer handling, passive grip end effector (EE) according to velocity, acceleration, boundary wall constraints in the horizontal plane. Specifically, I managed the visual animation of the EE movement, which generated an mp4 file using Matlab, and acted as the sole translator between the Japanese and English speaking members of our team. The animation featured subplots of velocity and acceleration in the x and y direction and a vector displaying the EE acceleration that both changed according to the time stamp of the motion.
